The Daughters @ Joe’s Pub; feature article in Indie-Musik Expressions mag

A couple things of note:

I’m featured in an article in the most recent issue of Indie-Musik Expressions, an internet magazine focusing on independent artists.

In addition, the May premiere of Shaina Taub’s new musical The Daughters at Tisch School for the Performing Arts (for which I arranged the music and directed the band) was hugely successful and the show will be produced in an expanded version (about twice as long) at Joe’s Pub, this Thursday July 16. I can’t say enough good about working with such a creative team, but you can find tickets here and check it out for yourself.

In the meantime, a few clips of the premiere run are up on youtube:

I’m also happy to be endorsing Mono instrument cases. After a scary incident in February, I’ve found a case that protects my gear and doesn’t break my back. Check out their stuff at monocase.com.

I Wish My Name Were Jack

My friend Andy Mullen just released his second album, “I Wish My Name Were Jack” which features yours truly on banjo, mandolin and guitar on a couple tracks including “Bottle On A Shelf” (above). Check him out at www.andymullenmusic.com and www.myspace.com/andymullenmusic. He’ll be touring all summer and I’ll be joining him at Milkboy Coffee in Ardmore, PA on August 3.
